Offshore technicians will work on a rotational back-to-back of 4 to 6 weeks and must have the skills to enhance safety measures and prevention of incident on products during the handling and installation of flexible and umbilical materials.
Their role is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe operations in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on a range of offshore equipment and systems
- Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore facilities and systems
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operational teams to enhance performance and safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities and prepare reports on equipment performance and issues
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience minimum as equivalent offshore technician position, in oil and gas
- Expertise in installation and maintenance of flexible materials and umbilical systems
- Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude towards maintenance and repairs
- Willingness to work on offshore sites for extended periods (working in rotation according to the projects)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; French language is a plus
Starting date : Immediately
Contract : 1 year renewable (project duration 2-3 years)
