About the role

We are looking for Offshore Operators to join our Wellsite Services team who will be responsible for delivering services to our customers through the operation and maintenance of specialized offshore equipment. The role requires technical expertise, a structured work methodology and the ability to work both independently and in a team. The work location will primarily be offshore, with the possibility of onshore support when required.

Wellsite Services is a division within NOV’s Energy Products and Services segment, providing equipment and services that include BRANDT™ solids control equipment, CRI equipment/services and iNOVaTHERM™ thermal treatment of drill cuttings. Our operations team in Norway plays a critical role in supporting the energy sector in the region through safe, efficient operations and measures that reduce carbon footprint. Our office is located in Stavanger.

Areas of responsibility

• Operate and maintain equipment on rigs in an efficient and safe manner
• Ensure order and cleanliness in our dedicated areas on board
• Follow daily and weekly operating routines
• Participate in the rigging and dismantling of equipment
• Perform daily reports, weekly maintenance and inventory control
• Follow internal policies and procedures
• Assist onshore when needed
• Participate in morning and evening meetings on board
• Communicate with the customer’s representative on the rig
