I was accompanying fishing vessels to national and international fishing grounds. -Observe the harvesting, handling and processing of marine resources and related operations and record data concerning such operations. -Compile of trip reports and collecting of fisheries research data

Responsible for the overall supervision of the Operation Centre which host the communication facilities of the Ministry to enable daily communication by patrol vessels, research vessel and patrol aircraft as well as Fisheries inspectors during their routine coastal patrols and Fisheries Observers on board of fishing vessels and Fisheries Monitoring Centre to facilitate speedy intervention when so required in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
