Safety Officer – MODU

Job Description

KEY DUTIES

Assist in the daily QHSE activities
Support in the preparation and revisions of procedures, documents, and instructions
Lead local incident investigations
Verify compliance with safety rules, procedures, instructions, and safety tools
Systematically follow up non-conformances, incident reports and deficiencies related to QHSE
Maintain the offshore Competence Management System
Provide training in the use PPE
Facilitate risk assessments and MOC processes offshore
 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Higher education (MSc, BSc or equivalent)
Documented solid experience within QHSE work on MODUs
Fluent written/oral in Norwegian and English language
Proficient in the use of IT systems
Good knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards on NCS and UK
Basic Offshore Safety course and Offshore health certificate
