What you will be doing:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality welding work in accordance with ASME codes and standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, fabrication plans, and welding specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Fabricating, assembling, fitting, and welding components in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards.
Conducting pre-work inspections of materials, equipment, and work areas to verify readiness and safety.
Performing quality control checks and measurements using precision tools to ensure completed work meets specified tolerances and quality requirements.
Maintaining detailed records of welding procedures, inspections, and test results to support traceability and compliance.
Identifying and reporting defects or non-conformities and assisting with corrective actions.
Operating and maintaining welding and fabrication equipment, ensuring it remains in safe working condition.
Working collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
Adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through feedback and recommendations on fabrication and welding processes.

Qualifications
What You’ll Need

Valid ASME IX certification to 6G or an equivalent welding qualification.
Proven experience as a Welder in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or heavy engineering environments.
Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards, particularly the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
Experience with a variety of welding processes and fabrication techniques.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and welding specifications.
Experience with mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation activities.
