Job Title: Cementing Field Specialist – Deepwater Drilling Operations

Job Location: Offshore Deepwater Drilling Sites

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cementing Field Specialist to join our deepwater drilling operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing cementing operations in challenging deepwater environments, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, coordinate, and execute cementing operations for deepwater drilling projects, including primary and remedial cementing.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including drilling engineers, geologists, and other specialists, to design and optimize cementing programs.

– Conduct pre-job planning and post-job analysis to evaluate cementing performance and identify areas for improvement.

– Monitor real-time data during cementing operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful execution and well integrity.

– Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to cementing operations.

– Provide technical support and guidance to junior cementing engineers and field personnel.

– Stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques in cementing and deepwater drilling operations.

– Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations on cementing operations to internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

– Minimum of 7 years of experience in cementing operations, with at least 3 years in deepwater drilling environments.

– Strong technical knowledge of cementing equipment, materials, and processes.

– Proven ability to design and optimize cementing programs for deepwater wells.

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

– Ability to work in challenging offshore environments and adapt to changing conditions.

– Relevant certifications and training in cementing and deepwater drilling operations.
