Roles And Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on the vessel, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
• Perform regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address potential issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with maritime safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct safety assessments and implement measures to improve electrical system safety.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs.
• Prepare technical reports for the Chief Engineer and company management.
• Conduct regular drills and ensure the crew is prepared for electrical emergencies.
