Rig Mechanic

Job Description

Ventia is looking for a Rig Mechanic to join our crew. This is a field-based role where you’ll be working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, travelling between sites to look after our fleet of well servicing rigs. Your role? Maintain and repair rig equipment to keep everything running smoothly and reliably.
You’ll report directly to the Mechanical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager, working closely with operations and field teams to ensure seamless operations.

Daily Pay Rate – $765.96 per day

Key duties, but not limited to:

Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing on all assets
Inspect and repair rigs as per requirements
Ensure materials, parts and equipment for maintenance or repairs are ordered in a timely manner
Keep preventative maintenance system up to date
Requirements:

Qualified Mechanic
Point of hire: Perth, Western Australia
Tech-savvy enough to track and report maintenance.
Valid Open Manual Driver’s Licence (or higher)
Have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and be a team player
The proven ability to fault find and troubleshoot under pressure
