Job Description

Job Purpose
Manage the whole operation related to Lift boat on the boat, in and out of the boat and assist in logistics and planning of operations. Provide full logistical support to Well Services operations. HSEQ ultimate responsible and permit holder. Timely distribution and supply of equipment and materials to the installation. Tracks and confirms location of surplus equipment and returns to stock and any other task as requested by Line Manager.

Job Responsibilities
Operation:
1.Permit holder for all activities on board of the LB and on platform as per SIMOPS guidelines
2.On top of planning ahead at least next 3 moves with close coordination between Well Services Superintendent, Field Production Superintendent and all other stakeholders (e.g. Construction, maintenance ..etc.)
3.Request and follow up sea surveys for next moves and ensure no issues before move.
4.Issuance of all reports/documents e.g.: manifests of inbound passengers, inbound
cargos, POB (of all DOTL & Contractors personnel)
5.Coordinate all activities between Well Services and the Barge owner/ Contractors Captain and crew.
6.Coordination of (supply vessels, passengers’ boats, FRC’s, working barges, and rigs) which are visiting the liftboat to carry out safe, sound, timely, and effective movement of personnel and goods as well.
7.Initiate and supervise Lifting plans of heavy lifts between LB and Platform and LB and any other vessel.
8.Review structural integrity and ensure a safety factor is taken toward maximum load pay. Come up with creative ideas and methods to distribute weight equally on deck and on bridge connecting to Platform
9.Review layout drawing of at least the next 3 moves and activities including any equipment that will be placed on production platforms.
10.Plan, supervise and coordinate LB move, approach and jacking up process between the locations with barge captain, marine and logistics departments.
11.Review all job programs for all activities forecasted and get involved in risk assessments of each operation.
12.Ensuring that all marine aspects of the rig’s operations are carried out in accordance with statutory and regulatory controls and guidelines.
13.Ensures the safe passage of personnel during transfers involving marine or crane operations or transfer through bridge/ gang ways.
