Job Description
To assist in all workshop operations within a workshop environment & under direction of the Workshop Supervisor. You will be carrying out maintenance, diagnoses and repairs to a range of equipment & assisting in the preparation of equipment to Company standards for use within an operational environment.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Ensure all service/maintenance sheets are correctly filled out
- Ensure all equipment is packed and ready for loading out as per mobilization list
- Ensure implementation of Company policies on quality, health & safety during all workshop activities
- Be available to participate in call-out duties, as required
- Ensure Workshop documentation systems are maintained, and deadlines are met
- Responsible to support a strong safety culture
- Responsible for high quality technical solutions for offshore scopes
- Help with rigging up and down of power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment
- Visually inspect equipment before, during, and after jobs to ensure field readiness and safe operation of equipment
- Know and understand Company Quality Policy & comply with the Quality Systems Manual, Operating/Technical Procedures & Workplace Instructions
- Perform various other duties & activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Technical Qualification
- Experience in a Mechanical/Hydraulic workshop
- Experience of working with TRS equipment & best practice would be an advantage
