Deck foreman – Crane Operator – Offshore

Job Description

Key responsibilities

Crane operations & maintenance

• Operate crane and lifting equipment for handling materials and heavy loads
• Perform pre-use inspections and first-line maintenance on crane systems
• Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in compliance with procedure

Deck & logistics coordination

• Coordinate loading and unloading of supply vessels
• Ensure accurate registration, labelling, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials
• Manage and control rigging and lifting equipment

Helideck operations

• Act as Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) during operations
• Guide passengers and coordinate safe landing and take-off procedures
• Maintain helideck equipment and ensure compliance with procedures

Safety & compliance

• Follow HSEQ policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and correct unsafe situations
• Participate in emergency response teams and safety drills
• Ensure proper use of permit-to-work systems

General support

• Provide logistical and operational support to other departments
• Supervise and guide deck crew during daily operations

What do you bring?

• Technical (vocational) education or equivalent working level
• Minimum of 5 years offshore experience in the energy or oil & gas sector
• Valid crane operator certification
• Knowledge of lifting procedures, standards, and regulations
• Experience with permit-to-work systems
