Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Floorhand is primarily responsible for performing various manual labor tasks through the rig site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates core values and safety standards according to the H&P way
• Performs rig up and down activities
• Performs “nippling up or nippling down” of the blowout preventor stack
• Performs general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components
• Conducts assigned activities on the rig floor
• Assists Derrickhand with mud-mixing duties
• Assists Motorhand as needed
• Up to date on current WorkDay trainings as assigned
