Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, issue, and manage permits to work for all non-routine and hazardous activities on offshore platforms.
  • Ensure all personnel involved in work activities are compliant with required safety certifications.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and job safety analysis prior to work commencement.
  • Apply site-specific protocols for confined space entry, authorized gas testing, working at heights, and material handling.
  • Utilize the Work Management System for permit issuance, receipt, and tracking.
  • Coordinate with Gas Watch personnel and manage gas testing requirements.
  • Maintain compliance targets for both North and South platform operations.

Required Certifications and Training

The ideal candidate must hold current and valid certifications in all mandatory courses, including Confined Space Entry for both North and South platforms, Authorized Gas Tester for North and South, Working at Heights, Job Safety Analysis, Material Handling, and PTW Issuer and Receiver. Proficiency in the Work Management System for Permit Holders is also essential.

Additionally, the candidate must possess or be willing to obtain certifications in Gas Watch, Sea Survival, Banksman, Doha Tower, and Port Security as required.
