Rigging Supervisor (Offshore)

Job Description

Minimum Requirement:

OPITO Rigging Level III / Level IV (or EMTA / NVQ Level 3 equivalent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all rigging and lifting operations on offshore site
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety standards and procedures
• Inspect and certify lifting gears and equipment before use
• Coordinate with crane operators and offshore team leads
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before each lift
• Prepare lift plans and supervise critical lifts
• Maintain rigging logs and inspection records

Requirements:

• Valid OPITO Rigging Level III or IV certification (or EMTA/NVQ Level 3 equivalent)
• Minimum 5-7 years offshore rigging experience
• Proven supervisory experience on offshore projects
• Knowledge of offshore HSE regulations
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Position 2: Rigger (Offshore)

Minimum Requirement:

• OPITO Rigging Level I

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in rigging and slinging activities under supervisor guidance
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and hooks
• Prepare loads for lifting and ensure proper attachment
• Communicate with crane operator during lifting operations
• Follow all safety instructions and maintain work area
• Support offshore team as directed

Requirements:

• Valid OPITO Rigging Level I certification
• Minimum 2-4 years offshore rigging experience
• Physically fit for offshore work environment
• Basic knowledge of hand signals and communication protocols
• Ability to work in a team
