Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Roustabout is primarily responsible for loading and offloading boats, equipment, and preparing drilling sires for operation by keeping decks/yards cleans and assisting the crane operator with loads[AW1] .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates core values and safety standards according to the H&P way
• Prepares locations for drilling, which includes the building of fences, pouring of concrete slabs, and digging ditches
• Cleans and straightens yard area
• Cleans, stores, and organizes equipment, materials, and supplies
• Selects cranes and slings to move pipes and other materials to be transferred to “V” door
• Operates hydraulic pumps or jacks to support and level pulling machines and derricks
• Up to date on current WorkDay trainings as assigned
