This is a remote/ rotational position, working in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose:

The Down Hole Diagnostics (DHD) Technician performs wellhead and down hole testing. The DHD position works with all facets of the Greater Prudhoe Bay operating area to provide well evaluations through testing procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

·       Assist other Technicians with DHD tasks including tubing integrity fluid level testing, mechanical integrity testing, fluid level surveys, arctic pack de-pressure, well bleeding of gas and fluid, and outer annulus re-pressurization testing.

·       Research the Well history of above jobs and learn to read well bore schematics.

·       Perform well monitoring.

·       Calculate formulas to determine fluid level.

·       Perform bleeding operations.

·       Perform Tubing Integrity Fluid Level Surveys (TIFL’s).

·       Perform functions including Mechanical Integrity Tests (MIT’s), Combination Integrity Tests (CIT’s), No-Flow Tests (NFT), Liquid Leak Rate Test (LLRT).

·       Calculate fluid gradient and tubular/annular volumes.

·       Safely climb ladders of various heights.

·       Ability to operate a Box Van.

·       Ability to tow trailers used in DHD activities.
