Job Description

The Offshore Asset Controller will be responsible for all offshore project equipment related requirements to support the performance of services, installation/testing activities for all activities across both the renewables and energy sectors . This includes all parts & consumables, logistics, tools & tooling, chemical materials and Personal Protective Equipment. Rotation schedule is 4 weeks on/off.

Job description

  • Onshore assistance to Asset Team Leader during mobilisation and demobilization of project scopesMaintain Stock Management Programme during project scopes
  • Maintain good housekeeping of equipment storage areas onshore or on vessel
  • Liaise with QA to maintain & manage Offshore Equipment (calibrations, inspections)
  • Ensure material / calibration certificates are logged and available for use offshore when required
  • Liaise with onshore asset team for procurement of equipment, tooling and consumables.
  • Check operation of equipment upon return and report any damage.
  • Quarantine items damaged during work
  • Inspection of PPE such as Harnesses, Lifejackets etc.
  • Support operating procedure reviews and conduct updates where required
  • Support all aspects of project mobilization and demobilization
  • Ensure correct storage of COSHH substances at the facility
  • Carry out regular stock checks and audits
  • Maintain records of equipment leaving and returning the offshore stores
  • Produce up to date reports for the team and feedback to the onshore team
  • Managing material flow/preparing materials for teams etc.
  • Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment
  • Behave with flexibility to support operational needs whilst maintaining integrity of procedural requirements.
  • Able to react on short notice work condition changes due to changes in the planning or weather related.
  • Work with team members to ensure clear hand over at shift change.
  • Attend manufacturing sites to support Stores and Manufacturing functions as and when required.
  • Experience of working as a Storekeeper / Logistics Coordinator onsite for WTG projects, ideally 1+ years
