Job Description

Precision Drilling

DAY IN THE LIFE:

Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Operating rig equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
Fitting bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motors
Align and test equipment, making any necessary adjustments
Performing preventive and operational maintenance and repairing or replacing defective parts when necessary
Provide technical support and guidance to the field personnel for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of Top Drives
Maintain standard inspection and repair procedures for the Top Drives
Ensure that proper fuels, lubricants, pressures, power, and parts are used on the equipment
Participating in on-call and overtime as required, with regular travel to field locations

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

A high school diploma is required
Must have a valid vehicle operations license (abstract required)
Previous drilling rig experience or a minimum of 5 years of energy or oilfield services industry experience.
Ability to multitask, find solutions, and establish priorities
Mechanically inclined and have a sound knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems
Have the physical strength required to work with heavy equipment
Exemplary safety skills, both written and verbal
