Wireline Supervisor

Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Wireline Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a wireline truck, manages and leads all levels of Operators and provides staff mentorship. The Supervisor promotes and maintains good customer relations and is responsible for all PDP wireline operations both in the shop and in the field. The Supervisor is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and record keeping for the wireline trucks, tools, and equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures, furthermore, understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures
– Ability to promote safety awareness
– Assembles and performs perforating guns services in various field locations.
– Ensuring compliance with all regulations applicable to Wireline explosives operations
– Ensures that all safety practices are implemented before, during and after the well service operation
– Provides technical assistance, supervision and training to other team members on location to assure work is carried out according to set schedules and procedures
– Mentor and supervises all operators relating the dangers of the jobs and importance of wellhead execution in the field and in the shop
– Troubleshooting of tool, equipment and truck problems
– Complete all job-related paperwork
– Ensuring compliance with all regulations applicable to Wireline explosives operations
– Cleans and maintains company vehicles, tools and equipment
– Working with Customer Representatives to ensure target dates etc
– Other duties as assigned by the reporting Manager
