Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Fishing and Reentry equipment in both shop and field environments
- Provide onsite services and technical support as needed
- Perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned and rental equipment
- Test, tune, and adjust equipment for optimal performance
- Monitor drilling and workover rig activity related to Fishing and Reentry operations
- Recommend improvements to methods, performance, and quality
- Complete accurate and timely job reports
- Assist with shop duties and deliveries when available
- Maintain 24-hour on-call status during rotation
- Participate in JHA, tailgate, and safety meetings
- Adapt to changing work environments and conditions
- Troubleshoot and solve basic operational issues
- Continue training to expand knowledge of Fishing and Reentry services
- Comply with Weatherford’s Quality Policy, safety rules, and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned within the physical scope of the role
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–7+ years of fishing and whipstock running experience
- Deepwater experience required
- Experience working with top-tier clients
- High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and general product knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions and work closely with team members
- Physically capable of responding in emergency situations
- Willingness and ability to work a fixed 28/28 rotation
