Offshore OSHA Inspector

Job Description

Atlas NextWave USA are seeking an OSHA Inspector to work offshore supporting our client’s painting scope on a major US offshore wind project. This person will be inspecting offshore painting/coating habitats placed on monopiles to ensure OSHA compliance. Exact start date and duration TBD.

Job description
Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of offshore painting habitats (fixed platform) on WTG monopiles
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, issuing findings and verifying the closure of corrective actions
• Share compliance reports with project team
• Liaise with offshore management and third party contractors to deliver HSE inductions and safety talks
• B1-OCS visa if not a US resident
• GWO
• HUET/BOSIET
• OGUK + Chester Step Test
• OSHA certification(s)
• Proven experience as a Safety Inspector offshore
